Join us for an evening of poems, conversation, and community with Colleen Alles & Eric Greinke in the Chapel at Fountain Street Church!

Poet Laureate Christine Stephens-Krieger will host the first of the Grand River Poetry Collective's 2nd Thursday poetry events at Fountain Street Church.

We have two poets with new books out that we want to celebrate: Colleen Alles and her new book of poems, Luminescence in Season, published by Meadowlark Press this June 2026. Books will be available at the event, or if you want to read ahead, get a copy here.

And poet Eric Greinke's recent Selected Works, One Candle, is a work of art from a master poet in our midst.

This will be our first 2nd Thursday Poetry event in the Chapel at Fountain Street Church, so stay tuned for more events and more open mics in the future.

Some building details: We have access to the side door that's on Fountain Street. We can also park in the small Fountain Street lot across the street (we have the code), and there's additional downtown parking elsewhere, including the ramp for GRCC.

This will be a a good night for poetry in GR.
